This page summarizes how the LocalDesk website handles information today. LocalDesk's full privacy policy is being finalized and will replace this summary.

What this website collects

• If you request access: your full name and email address, and the LocalDesk identity issued to you — a nickname, your position in the access sequence and an Access ID.
• If you create an account or sign in: your email address, handled through our authentication provider. Your password goes only to that provider; this website never stores it.
• If you use an invite or choose a plan: the code you enter and the plan you select.
• If you pay: payment happens on a hosted checkout run by our payment processor. Card details never pass through this website.

What this website doesn't do

This website does not load advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Storage in your browser

When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser's local storage so that you stay signed in.

While you request access, a cookie keeps your place: it holds a random token that lets this browser continue the identity it started, and nothing else. It is removed once the identity joins your account.
